Forms for true importer direct using their own ASEC (Pre-CARM) RNS, Cadex, EDI
PLEASE NOTE:
- DO NOT SET UP IMPORTERS ON THEIR OWN ASEC FOR CARM purposes
- For CARM - Importers should be encouraged to set up on the CARM client portal and designate a broker as part of that process. As well importers should be working towards the goal of posting a electronic financial security agreement with CBSA.
Please advise support@candata.com whenever you add an ASEC to the client account in the system.
Examples of all forms are filled and attached and to be sent to CBSA ONLY for true importer directs with existing ASEC number assigned
Examples are meant for importers working through a CANdata Global Broker
These instructions in RED are very important.
Each form has a link to the CBSA Guide, which clearly defines what CBSA is looking for in the field.
We cannot pre-fill forms for you, you must download the original from the link. Each form has different PDF security on it by CBSA.
We highly suggest you print the forms and fill them in with pen, as most will not allow you to save changes.
